Falling in love in Ibiza.
Little over two months ago I left for Ibiza to experience a highly vibrating summer trip and to celebrate the birthday of my beloved brother. And even though it wasn’t my birthday, it was me who ended up getting the most beautiful gift. This because I was introduced to the art of Elisa Insua.
As we we’re making our way to the airport after a few intense days, I had the urge to make a quick stop at ‘Maison D’Elephant’. An interior design concept store founded by Bruno Reymond where you will most likely always spot a new trend or a fresh piece of an up-and-coming artist.
To be honest, I was a little disappointed that time by what the store had to offer, but there was one piece that immediately caught my attention and spoke to me in a lot of different ways. In other words, fell in love with. I asked the store manager whose it was, and that’s when she told me it was a piece by Elisa Insua. A 28-year old visual artist from Argentina who turns trash into art and uses it as her medium of expression.
In my opinion, Elisa Insua is a true alchemist, literally turning nothing into gold. Today I am proud to announce that Elisa’s work is now also available in our store and that we will also be exhibiting some of her key pieces at the 2018 Monaco WSLA’S.
